The Site
We are located half-way between Nice and Digne-les-Bains (about 75km from each city) on a small side road parallel to the D4202. Our campsite is on the edge of a private lake on the banks of the Var River.
By foot from the village of Entrevaux: along an easy 1.5km path that follows the Var River (not recommended for pushchairs with small wheels). The start of the path is just behind the town hall, at the Porte de France.
By car from the village of Entrevaux: follow the D4202 for about 4km to the Pont Noir. After crossing this bridge turn right onto a side road which goes back towards the village. It is signposted ‘Camping du Brec’ and ‘Intermarché’. Continue on this small easy road for about 2km. You will come to the lake and the campsite reception.
By train from Nice and Digne-les-Bains: click here for the Train des Pignes timetable https://zou.maregionsud.fr/. Get off at Entrevaux station and walk into the village. From the village, take the path along the river to reach the campsite.
By bus from Nice (€ 1,50 pp): click here for the timetable of the bus LR790 from Nice to Entraunes https://zou.maregionsud.fr/ . Get off the train at Entrevaux station and walk into the village. From the village, take the path along the river to reach the campsite.
We have 81 pitches for tents, caravans and/or motorhomes. They are shady, easily accessible and all have a 10Amp electric hook-up. You can park your vehicle on your pitch.
We have 4 bungalows x 4 guests and 2 chalets x 6/7 guests.

Short stays of minimum 2 nights are possible in low season.
- Animals are accepted on the campsite and in the rentals.
- Dogs of 1st and 2nd category are not allowed.
- Animals must be kept on a leash in the campsite and around the snack bar.
- All animals entering the campsite must be reported the reception and have their vaccinations up to date.
- For hygiene reasons they are not allowed on the beach but can swim from the other side of the lake. The riverbed is a perfect place to let your dog run free.

Due to our position by the river and the lake, there can be a temperature difference of 10 to 15°C between the day and night times. For example, in summer it can be 35°C during the day and 20°C at night.
Please make sure you have sleeping gear and clothes for the evening, depending on the season. In summer – a cardigan and light trousers will do, in low season – a fleece, jeans and a hat are more appropriate!
During the day, the campsite gets a lot of sunshine. Bring light seasonal clothing.
The water in the lake is between 20 and 25°C during the bathing season. Don’t forget your swimming costume!
